The Ontology Engineering Group is at the top-ten of research groups at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM). It is based on the School of Computer Science at UPM. Its research areas cover Ontological Engineering, Semantic Web and Linked Data, Semantics in Open Science, and Data-Driven Language Technologies. Job responsibilities:

• T4.4 BattleSim: AI/RL services for modelling battlefield actors and military unit behaviours.
• T5.1 Human- Centred AI Interfaces and Workflowsfor Accelerated OODA Loop
• T5.2 BattleCore: AI-Assisted scenario authoring and simulation
• T5.3 BattleAct: Wargaming and simulation platform for mission planning

Specific requirements:

• Candidates must be tax residents of Spain or be willing to become tax residents of Spain. The office is located in Boadilla del Monte, near Madrid, Spain.
• Ability to work as part of a team, take initiative, be flexible, and possess excellent communication skills to work as part of a multinational and multidisciplinary team.
• Experience in scientific communication and publishing.

Mandatory requirements:

• You must hold a master's degree in Data Science or have completed the program and be eligible to apply for the degree.
