The Ontology Engineering Group is at the top-ten of research groups at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM). It is based on the School of Computer Science at UPM. Its research areas cover Ontological Engineering, Semantic Web and Linked Data, Semantics in Open Science, and Data-Driven Language Technologies. Job vacancy: Researcher in Data Science and Natural Language Processing

Job responsibilities:

• Developing techniques for integrating large language models (LLMs) with knowledge graph embeddings for graph recommendation in an industrial use case.
• Designing experiments with LLMs on GPU infrastructure.
• Analyzing and evaluating the explainability of responses generated by generative AI.

Specific requirements:

• Candidates must be tax residents in Spain, or be willing to become tax residents in Spain. The office is located in Boadilla del Monte, near Madrid, Spain.

Mandatory requirements:

• The ability to work to tight deadlines is essential.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
