URI2 metric: Consistent ontology IDs are employed

This metric ensures alignment between the ontology’s URI and its ID.

What is being measured?

The consistency between the URI used to invoke the FAIR assessment tool and the URI used within the ontology document.

Why should we measure it?

While the ontology URI (e.g., a URI pointing to a Turtle serialization) may be different from the ontology namespace URI, it is recommended to have a unique identifier and redirect to the serialization with content negotiation.

What must be provided for the measurement?

An ontology URI.

What are considered valid results?

The ontology’s URI and ID are consistent.
